API: Retrieve Planning Data with Custom Fields

Anyone who evaluates planning data in their own reports or connects it to other systems previously had to combine several requests. The InLoox API now offers the DynamicPlanning endpoint, which returns planning elements, project data, project permissions, and custom fields in one flat list.

  • One request: GET /odata/DynamicPlanning returns activities, milestones, and summary activities together with the data of their project.
  • Custom fields included: Custom fields carry the prefix cf_Planning, all other properties a prefix such as Planning_ or Project_.
  • Read-only: The endpoint supports GET requests only. To create or edit planning elements, use the regular /odata/Planning endpoints. Please note that write operations on planning data via the API are only possible to a limited extent.
