Create a New Project

In InLoox, you can either create a project directly or submit a project request. Which buttons you see depends on your permissions — for example, Create project or Create project request.

If you do not see either button, contact your InLoox administrator. Permissions can be configured in the Account Settings.

Create a project

Follow these steps to create a new project in InLoox:

  1. Click the blue New Project button in the toolbar at the top left.

  2. The new project appears in the project list with the default name New Project. The person who created the project is automatically assigned as the project manager.

  3. Click on the project to open it and make further adjustments.

  4. The project opens on the right side in split view. You can resize the split view by sliding the separator left or right. Alternatively, click the double-arrow icon at the top right to switch to fullscreen view.

  5. At the top, you can adjust the project name.

  6. To the right of the name, you can select the status of the project.

Submit a project request

If you want to submit a project request instead of creating a project directly:

  1. Click New Project Request in the toolbar at the top left.

  2. Enter the project details — you can fill in all the same information as when creating a project.

  3. Click the Plus icon at the top right (where you also add project members) and select a person in the Project request reviewer field.

  4. The project request can then be approved by the reviewer or the responsible person.
