The InLoox AI Assistant supports you directly in the areas of InLoox you already work in — creating tasks, turning emails into tasks, and drafting project descriptions.

• Create tasks and descriptions with AI — generate project tasks from a prompt, identify tasks in emails, and draft project descriptions. Available in every InLoox edition.

Requirements for using AI features in InLoox

In the InLoox Cloud, the AI features run on the InLoox default model.

InLoox Self-Hosted must connect its own OpenAI-compatible model to use the AI features, because the InLoox default model runs in the cloud only. See InLoox AI.

Activation of AI assistance

To use AI features, AI assistance must be activated for your InLoox account. This setting is enabled by default. An InLoox administrator can disable it under Account Settings >> InLoox AI. For more information, see InLoox AI.

InLoox Documentation MCP

Developers and power users who work with AI coding tools can connect those tools directly to InLoox documentation using the InLoox Documentation MCP server. This allows AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, VS Code Copilot, and Windsurf to search and read InLoox help articles on demand.
